Find out more about McMurtry & Harding Vets
We have practices in Ashbourne, Uttoxeter and Wirksworth offering a wide range of morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday appointments.
All practices have a fully equipped operating theatre, separate vet and nurse consultation rooms, in-house laboratories and comfortable cat and dog wards to make your pet’s stay with us as stress free as possible. We offer a great range of food products, toys, treats, bedding, collars, leads, and engrave our own pet identity discs which are available in a choice of colours, sizes and designs.
Our Ashbourne practice is also equipped to cater for farm and equine animals too, and has a large meeting room where we hold regular information evenings for both pet owners and farmers.
At McMurtry and Harding, you may already be familiar with our practices in Ashbourne, Uttoxeter and Wirksworth. But did you know we also have a long standing sister practice located in the heart of Buxton?
Overdale Vets provides services to the town of Buxton and the surrounding areas, including the Hope Valley where we have a small branch there too.
We are a mixed practice providing care, advice and treatment for all animals great and small. In 2010 we entered into a voluntary scheme with our governing body the RCVS which gives you confidence that our practice and the services it offers have been ‘vetted’ and have passed. Out of hours your animals will always be seen by us, your normal vets. In addition to our Veterinary Surgery we have an established cattery with 7 pens each large enough for two family cats to share.
