Sarah Walton - Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah Walton BVSc MRCVS Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Sarah joined McMurtry and Harding in 2018 after qualifying from the University of Liverpool. She started off her journey with us as a mixed vet, but in the summer of 2020 during the pandemic Sarah decided she wanted to further her education and go back to university to train in psychotherapy and counselling, with the goal of understanding and improving mental health within the veterinary industry. She has completed a post graduate diploma in psychotherapy and counselling and is currently working towards a masters.

At work, her favourite aspect of the job is the variety, and wide range of patients and people she encounters. She has three pets of her own – Twiglet the whippet, a cat called Eleanor, and her horse George. She likes to spend her spare time outside – walking with Twiglet, horse riding, and running.
